Come paint with us! Announcing a series of Watercolour Socials across the country, from the east coast to the west coast.
We welcome fellow watercolour enthusiasts to join us at one of our events, whether you are an experienced artist or simply curious about painting in watercolour, come find members of the Society at their easels as we gather to paint and share a sense of camaraderie and painting fun. If you have wanted to connect with other painters in your region or to learn more about painting in watercolour, this is your chance! Please join us, and bring a friend.

Atlantic Region: Hydrostone Park, Halifax, NS, NOTE DATE CHANGE due to rain: JULY 27, 2024
Quebec Region, Stewart Hall, Pointe-Claire, PQ, July 7, 2024
Save the date! July 7 is the CSPWC QUEBEC plein air day at Stewart Hall in Pointe Claire. Whether you are a seasoned painter, an urban sketcher, or a newbie to watercolour, come join us in this beautiful location by the lake.
Everyone is welcome! We’ll be joining the Stewart Hall Gallery’s Picnic Vernissage, and they will be providing watercolour paints and paper if you don’t have your own materials.
Join us from noon until 4 pm, rain or shine (there are covered areas on the porch) and bring along your painting buddies. Open to all!! Hope to see you there.
Southern Ontario Region, Ingersoll Creative Arts Center, Ingersoll, ON, July 4, 2024
Plein air painters are encouraged to paint and sketch on the grounds: the building itself is wonderful and the gardens are perfection! CSPWC Member Hilda Markson Gray will be welcoming painters who choose to paint outside.
Studio space is also available for studio painters and in the case of rain. CSPWC Regional Director Anita Wood will be painting in the studio.
This is a paint-out, and while there will be no instruction, watercolour artist will be painting in the company and support of each other.
Bring your own lunch. Coffee & tea will be available at the centre.
Bring your own painting supplies.

Prairie Region, Across the Prairies, Month of June, 2024
EVENT: “SHOW YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD WHAT YOUR WATERCOLOURS LOOK LIKE”
The Prairie Region CSPWC membership have been invited to show their neighbourhood what their watercolours look like. On any day in June you may chance upon artists at their easels, with a couple of paintings, whether at their front doors, in their driveways, balconies or lobbies, demonstrating to passers-by what watercolours look like.
We encourage our membership to take part and have fun engaging with the public about watercolours for a couple of hours. Here is CSPWC Elected Member Bonnie Scott painting in her driveway:
