This workshop gives beginner watercolour painters a solid foundation in watercolour techniques used in painting in a detailed and realistic style. For artists with prior experience it provides an opportunity to brush up on these techniques in a structured and progressive fashion.
Learn the fundamentals of watercolour! Each week you will learn a new technique and build on your understanding of how to apply watercolour paint to paper. We will review details of supplies, value scales, washes, wet on wet, masking fluid and how to fine tune your paintings. You will practice the techniques independently and explore limited colour mixing in the process. This class is perfect for beginners who want a solid foundation or
artists who want a technical refresher.
Participants will receive a Zoom link by email by two days before each class.
Classes will be recorded and paid participants will be able to view the recording of each class for two weeks after the class.
