This workshop will be offered via Zoom

Most watercolour artists are familiar with painting on white paper. While saving the beautiful whites is a valuable and time-honored technique, in this one-hour demonstration, Missy Acker will show how she works over a coloured ground with watercolour and gouache when creating studies of birds. With only a few layers of paint, a thoughtful choice of ground colour can give your subject character and vitality, with its own lovely charm.
