Au-Delà des Mers: Between Friends
Across the Seas – Entre Amis
“Inspiration, joy of watercolour and the movement of pigments”
The objective of this exhibition/exchange opportunity is to share the common bond of a passion for watercolour, that both societies promote. The cultural influences each country explores independently as well as similarities that the medium of watercolour offers will connect our two countries in an international display. The CSPWC is proud to be part of this exhibition and we hope that our members will also see the great opportunity this event will afford the Society as a whole, and for each successful participant.
This will be a juried exhibition that will show in Canada in June 2018 at the Helson Gallery in Halton Ontario.
Approximately 50 CSPWC members’ paintings will be on display in conjunction with 60 French works of watercolour during the first part of this exchange. We hope to have many of the French artists visiting our country while they are part of this show. The second part of this exchange will take place in Sept. 2018 in France where the CSPWC will present the same 50 artists, plus 15 additional works, to be shown at an Exhibition in Avignon, France along with the French society.
