Location: Neilson Park Creative Centre, Etobicoke, Ontario
This will be the 101st Open Water held by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. We are proud to present this exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre (56 Neilson Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9C 1V7).
Open Water 2026 is open to submissions painted in Transparent Water Colour as listed in the Conditions of Entry.
Important Dates
- Submissions open May 15, 2026
- Deadline for entries: June 30, 2026 at 2 pm Eastern Daylight Time
- Notification goes out to artists by email by July 8 2026
- Shipped Paintings must go to CSPWC, 80 Birmingham St, Unit B3 Toronto Ontario M8V 3W6, Canada by Wednesday August 26th
- Delivered paintings to arrive at Neilson Park Creative Centre: Sunday August 30, 9 – 4 pm, 2026
- Exhibition Opens September 1, 2026
- Reception & Awards September 12, 2026, 1 – 3 pm
- Exhibition Closes September 19, 2026
