100th OPEN WATER
An International Juried Exhibition in Water Media

OPEN WATER 2025 will be the 100th International Juried Exhibition held by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. We are proud to be presenting this exhibition at Teichert Gallery, 1723 Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Submissions open April 14, 2025
Deadline for entries: June 16, 2025, at NOON Eastern Time
Overview
This exhibition is open to all artists over 18, for submissions painted in water based media. Artists whose work is accepted to the show will be required to ship or deliver their painting to Halifax, Nova Scotia for delivery between August 11- 28th. International artists should allow time for shipping in their planning.
New this year: We are pleased to announce a Youth Division of Open Water, open to Nova Scotian artists between the ages of 16 and 19. Full details are listed in the Call for Entry.
