Are you ready to get let go? Have fun challenging yourself to loosen up before reeling it in to create a realistic watercolour painting… in 2 hours! Brittney will demonstrate a series of steps that will encourage you to express your inner child through colour and bold brushstrokes to create the foundation of a painting. She will demonstrate the use of tonal values and colour to define and fine tune the final image. Join in the fun to see this unique approach to watercolour painting!

Troubleshooting A Watercolour
We all know the feeling of wanting to throw away a painting and “start over”. Brittney will work on a painting made by a student who is ready to start over. Using this “throw away” painting, Brittney will demonstrate ways solve problems, disguise mistakes, and fine tune it. She will revitalize the painting with colour and values and bring it back to life! colour, value, concepts and composition.

Raise Your Bar
It’s important to get feedback on our artwork if we want to get better at it. This class will offer the opportunity to submit your artwork or portfolio and receive direct feedback on your work from Brittney Tough. Brittney will review between 5-10 artworks/portfolios throughout the session giving you valuable nuggets of information on technique, colour, value, concepts and composition.
